Dr. Mohammed is a Consultant & Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mythri Hospital. He is a highly skilled and experienced emergency physician with expertise in managing critically ill patients across all age groups. His proficiency spans advanced resuscitation, pediatric emergencies, trauma management, and acute medical/surgical crises.
He is well-trained in life-saving emergency procedures such as endotracheal intubation, central venous access, arterial line insertion, and intercostal drain placement, with additional expertise in bedside ultrasound for rapid diagnosis and intervention.
Beyond clinical care, Dr. Mohammed has played a pivotal role in developing Emergency Department protocols, initiating training programs (BLS, ACLS, POCUS, FEM, MRCEM), and coordinating residency education. He has led multiple disaster mock drills, infection control initiatives, and quality improvement projects, strengthening emergency preparedness within the institution.
Passionate about education and research, he has conducted numerous workshops, academic sessions, and simulation trainings, and is committed to fostering the next generation of emergency physicians. His leadership combines strong clinical acumen with administrative vision, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered emergency care.
